I like to write with a sense of humor. Inserting modern terms into conversations with 15th, 16th, and 18th century characters, for example. They do not have any idea what our time traveler is telling them, with terms like “okay” or “playing for the other team” with regards to a homosexual.
And trust me, after reading Mysterious Ways and my description of one of Johannes Gutenberg’s “personal” body parts, you will never hear the name “Johannes Gutenberg” without snickering to yourself!
